The Farm

The farm, named "Fundo Chachantun", has 85 producing Has (about 210 acres), 100 % organically handled. That means it is laboured in balance with the natural environment with no use of herbicides or modified chemicals, dangerous to environment and human beings. It is located immediately at the bottom of the mountains, in a zone surrounded by hills of medium height .This generates a major concentration of warmth during the day, promoting development and ripeness of the grapes and decreasing of the temperature during the night, due to the cold wind descending from the high mountains. This stimulates a major phenol and tannin concentration in the berries, resulting in better quality of the wine.
